This month is going to be so crazy!

I have two bridal shows coming up. The first is next Sunday, March 6th, at the DuPont Country Club in Wilmington, Delaware. This is a such a gorgeous space and I am so excited to be in this show. You should definitely try to make it out if you can!

Then it’s my birthday on March 10th and my mom will be coming up from the eastern shore in Maryland to visit. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for an ice cream cake (you getting this down, mom?). And a few days later I head off to New Orleans for a week.

I come back and have another bridal show soon after on March 28th – this time it’s at the Sofitel Hotel in Center City Philadelphia. I have yet to visit Sofitel but I have heard great things about it.

If you can come out to either show there is no way you’ll be able to miss me. I’ll be the one with the green living room. Seriously.

Of course I have some engagement sessions sprinkled in there for good measure. There are some really awesome couples and I can’t wait to get these pictures out. One will be at Longwood Gardens and the other will be around Philly. There may be more but we’re still scheduling it if this miserable weather ever stops!

Every month I feature new images for download for you to use as your desktop background. In celebration of my birthday I’m giving you me! Yep, those are mine and I’m embarrassed to say that it took me until a few months ago to get my very first pair of chucks. (For shame, Lindsay!) Click to download it and see it at its huge size and resolution.

School has started again. The days are (kinda) starting to cool off. My Pinterest is beginning to get a lot of fall outfits popping up on it. Most flowers are wilted until the next spring. The air is starting to smell differently. Baseball seasons is beginning to morph into football season. I suppose I need to face facts: summer is coming to a close.I won’t let it go down without a fight. I still relish the stray lightning bugs, lemonade, picnics, cotton dresses, A/C, and ice cream. There is still time for ice cream!  Now that I've moved my home to Chestnut Hill, come visit and we'll get some scoops at Bredenbeck's.Every month, I ...

The days are getting longer, the sun is shining more, everyone's outside, and there's just a summertime bliss hanging in the air. Living in San Francisco, I had missed this. I had missed my seasons, especially the warm, sunny ones. I now have sundresses and I intend to make full use of them. Go on, have a picnic…Enjoy!*Please note these images are made available for personal use only.In summer, the song sings itself. ~ William Carlos Williams

Summer no more. Sure, we may have a few hot days but the leaves are turning from their vibrant greens to blazing reds, oranges, and yellows. It's definitely fall in the Northeast and everyone knows it. This is my busiest month of the year. With colors like these and temperate weather, the conditions are perfect for weddings.Go on some evening strolls while you still can. This is the time of year to put all of your senses in overdrive: take in the incredible colors, breathe in that crisp autumn air, stock up on spiced cider, carve pumpkins, hoot and holler at the postseason baseball games, roast marshmallows, jump in a pile of leaves, bra ...
