Sorry I won't be around for the next two weeks. I am going to Scotland on October 20th, returning to San Francisco on October 29th and flying out to Connecticut a few hours later to shoot a wedding on Halloween.Unfortunately, my trip to Scotland is not one for fun or weddings, but to see my grandmother who has been struggling with dementia for the past few years and now looks to have lung cancer. She is actually my namesake as her maiden name is Lindsay. Wedding dress shopping in NYC
Liz, my best friend, came into town last week from Chicago and we had a fun-filled trip of being truly girly. We bought makeup, she gave me an introduction on how to actually use it, and we went to New York City to really indulge in being a bride: dress shopping. I had the day planned with a whirlwind trip to three bridal salons, dinner, and a show on Broadway (btw, Matilda was awesome!). We started at Lovely, a place that lives up to its name.
