Philadelphia Engagement Photographer | Rittenhouse Square | Maggie + Adam

Engagement

Maggie and Adam are fabulous. We spent an afternoon around Rittenhouse Square basking in the fall colors and just indulging in a lot of fun! Maggie is hilarious. Not only can she slide gracefully down stair railings, the ways she looks at Adam is utter perfection. She has so many playful and loving expressions and I love them all. You’ll see in some of the pictures from the engagement session. And Adam is the self-proclaimed groomzilla (he’s hardly a ‘zilla, in my humble opinion). She’s working on her MBA and he’s taken the lead on a lot of the wedding planning process.

The two have dealt with a lot of long distance dating. She moved around a lot and somehow they ended up as roommates in LA during a 6 month program there. They shared some mutual friends from Penn State and things moved from there.

Check out what we got!

The area around Rittenhouse Square is so gorgeous. I am in love with the cobblestone streets, brightly colored doors, brick, old streetlights, ivy, and all of those little unmistakable ‘Historic Philadelphia’ elements. They introduced me to a perfect street for pictures just a few blocks away.

Don’t worry – you’ll see more of them soon enough! I can’t wait for their New Year’s Eve wedding at the Radisson Warwick (not far from our engagement session). I have a feeling it’ll be spectacular! Love you both!

Philadelphia Engagement Photographer | Old City | Laura + Ryan
I am gaga over Laura and Ryan! Their engagement session (though terribly cold) was one of my favorites ever. These two were so kind and genuine and affectionate and simply amazing. The frosty temperatures made it even easier to get them close and cuddly! I chatted with them last June and this was the first time we had ever met. They flew in from their home in Santa Barbara and we played in the great light, wandering around Old City one afternoon. We started the session in Elfreth’s Alley. These two met online a few years ago. For their first date they took a 45 minute drive to pick up a dresser Laura found on Craigslist. Ryan claims her ...

Chester County Engagement Photographer | Longwood Gardens | Drea + Steve
Philadelphia sports fans are famous (okay, notorious) for being particularly crazy and fanatical.  I’ve had my Flyers fans and Eagles fans and Phillies fans but Drea and Steve were my first Union fans.  In fact, they owe their relationship to the soccer team. The Philadelphia Union cheering section, the Sons of Ben, had an away game in Montreal 3 years ago.  Steve went with a group of friends and Drea went solo (some friends backed out last minute).  It was on the bus back that Steve and his rowdy friends chatted up Drea.  They were shot down when they invited her out that night. 4 months later at a Union charity event, Ste ...
