Philadelphia Engagement Photographer | Rittenhouse Square | Maggie + Adam

Engagement

Maggie and Adam are fabulous. We spent an afternoon around Rittenhouse Square basking in the fall colors and just indulging in a lot of fun! Maggie is hilarious. Not only can she slide gracefully down stair railings, the ways she looks at Adam is utter perfection. She has so many playful and loving expressions and I love them all. You’ll see in some of the pictures from the engagement session. And Adam is the self-proclaimed groomzilla (he’s hardly a ‘zilla, in my humble opinion). She’s working on her MBA and he’s taken the lead on a lot of the wedding planning process.

The two have dealt with a lot of long distance dating. She moved around a lot and somehow they ended up as roommates in LA during a 6 month program there. They shared some mutual friends from Penn State and things moved from there.

Check out what we got!

The area around Rittenhouse Square is so gorgeous. I am in love with the cobblestone streets, brightly colored doors, brick, old streetlights, ivy, and all of those little unmistakable ‘Historic Philadelphia’ elements. They introduced me to a perfect street for pictures just a few blocks away.

Don’t worry – you’ll see more of them soon enough! I can’t wait for their New Year’s Eve wedding at the Radisson Warwick (not far from our engagement session). I have a feeling it’ll be spectacular! Love you both!

New Hope engagement session with colorful yellow leaves in fall
Bucks County Engagement Photographer | New Hope | Ali + Mike
It is not common that I meet my couple for their engagement session the day before their wedding.  Sometimes that’s just the way it works out, especially when the couple is out in sunny California dealing with moves and opening a coffee shop and planning a wedding. Regardless, I was so happy that they were able to carve out a little time for us to just play before their rehearsal dinner and big wedding festivities.  Since they were getting married and staying at Holly Hedge Estate, it made sense that we do the mini session in New Hope. It was a very chilly day.  Mike would have preferred about another 30 degrees but you could se ...

Chester County Engagement Photographer | Longwood Gardens | Sandy + Yohanes
I am always inspired by couples who have been together for years and years. They must know each other so well, every idiosyncrasy and every eyelash. Sandy and Yohanes have been together for 7 years. They met at church when she arrived as a new member. He asked for her phone number a few weeks later. For the longest time I felt like this engagement session was a fantasy. We were supposed to do it last October at the Jersey shore. If you remember, there was a bit of bad weather that completely halted our plans. And then Yohanes had a bug bite on his chin that lasted two months. I was wondering if I would ever actually meet these mysterio ...
