Gratitude

I hope you and yours are celebrating and giving thanks with friends, family, and a monstrous feast. I know I am.

Thanksgiving gratitude

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. Those are birds chirping as I’m typing this. The sun is up in the mornings again. I no longer need to wear 10 layers to go outside. There are buds on everything. The crocuses came up a few weeks ago and I’m seeing daffodils everywhere. For someone who despises the cold, this is my happy time. The year is turning around and the earth is opening up. I can run outside, I can put away my sweater ...
