Megan and Brian met in college at Lehigh University. They were friends first, then physics lab partners, then they started dating. They have been together for six years now and will be getting married this August at the Please Touch Museum.
I met Megan, Brian, and Jake, their 2.5 year old cocker spaniel, along Kelly Drive for their engagement session. As if these three weren’t already charming and incredibly photogenic, we were given the best lighting a photographer could ask for. I’m so glad they picked the perfect day to drive down from their home in Brooklyn.
Megan had scoped out this stunning yellow diamond ring and passed the note to a friend. This information found its way to Brian. The couple traveled to Canada to go camping with her family for a week. She thought it was a little fishy that he wouldn’t let her unpack his suitcase but the days passed and nothing strange happened. It rained on the last day but they went hiking and out for a canoe trip. It was on this final day there that he popped the question.
Megan’s father created a glittery frame (oh, dads and their Pinterest addictions!) to use for the engagement session but it just wasn’t working out. The end result was glitter everywhere. And I mean everywhere!
I just got a sneak peek of the dresses and some of the details going into the big day and I can’t wait to see it all come together. The day can’t get here soon enough! Just wait until you see that blog post!
“Perhaps the feelings that we experience when we are in love represent a normal state. Being in love shows a person who he should be.”
