Little Deirdre Quinn made a fashionably late grand entrance to the world only one day after her due date. She arrived with a surprise, namely that she was a she. Everyone was absolutely convinced that Moira and Brett’s wee one would be a boy.
But after putting mom and dad (especially mom) through some work, she arrived a perfect and beautiful 8lbs. 3 oz.
I met up with the whole family just a few short weeks after Moira’s maternity session at their home in Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia.
I learned that D is a snorter. Sure, she coos gurgles but she is a snorter. She grunted, snorted, and snored her way through our session together in the most adorable baby noises you could imagine (think itty bitty pug puppy with pink bows, sweet chubby cheeks, and pink baby toes).
She has been welcomed into an amazing family. (I should know having shot Moira and Brett’s engagement, Holly Hedge wedding, and maternity.) I can’t wait to see watch little Deirdre grow into a little lady.
A new baby is like the beginning of all things – wonder, hope, a dream of possibilities.
